Vintage botanical illustration of a boatlily (Tradescantia discolor/spathacea), also known as ‘pride of Burma’.
The original drawing was made by Madame Berthe Hoola van Nooten for a 19th century book portraying exotic tropical flowers, fruits and plants from the island of Java. Digitally restored and cleaned.
