Addax – the screwhorn antelope lives in the Sahara, its natural habitat are arid regions, semideserts and sandy and stony deserts. Formerly, the addax was widespread in a wast region of Africa, today there’s only one known self-sustaining population left due mainly to overhunting. It’s critically endangered since 2000.
