Vintage botanical illustration of a giant crepe-myrtle tree (Lagerstroemia speciosa/regia), also known as Queen’s crepe-myrtle, banabá plant and Pride of India.

The original drawing was made by Madame Berthe Hoola van Nooten for a 19th century book portraying exotic tropical flowers, fruits and plants from the island of Java. Digitally restored and cleaned.
